A couple of weeks ago we announced that we are expecting lucky #3 and while we are still excited about the new little one coming, he (Amanda swears it’s a boy) is wreaking havoc on my wife’s body.  Amanda suffers from hyperemesis, a form severe form of morning sickness that has her almost entirely bed ridden. She is absolutely miserable and I want to cry every time I see her misery. With the last pregancy, she was taken to the ER due to dehydration from the constant vomiting. It is comparable to having food poisoning for 6+ weeks straight.

Please pray for strength on my end and patience as well. While I have all the patience in the world for my suffering wife, the kids are a different story. I go from working 9 hours a day, to making meals, doing dishes, cleaning house and by the end of the day I am spent. My kids deserve good, wholesome quality time and I need the strength to shelter them from the stress of work and make sure they get quality time with “mommy” when she can get out of bed.
